"U'khaf-spol Vuhlkansu, u'katra Vuhlkansu...."

At last, two of my favourite obsessions — 19th-century Great Mouse Detective and 24th-century Star Trek — merged and mingled as one little, parodistic crossover, brought to you by me and, pushing my hesitancy aside, I am pleased to introduce the adventures of Star Trek: Titus:

Of the House of Skamandros and of the Clan Tokoris-en-kuuk, T'Sing is the life-mate of Admiral Salok, head of Starfleet military fleet operations during the Dominion War. As a child, Salok, of the House of Karatek, was discovered to have telepathic capabilities of an exceptional kind, making him susceptible to thoughts and emotions without touch; he had great difficulty controlling his emotions. When it came time for his bonding at the age of seven, the parents of T'Sing, kinsmen of the House of Karatek, objected to Salok and forbade their match. At the fourteen, he dared impropriety to ask T'Sing to join him in the rite of tal'oth, a four-month survival rite in the desert. He was met with severe aversion and insult, yet it was T'Sing who accepted his offer and disappeared with Salok into the desert. During the rite, they bonded in secret; all attempts to join them to other potential mates failed. Over fifty years later, Salok, then-adjutant to Vice Admiral Leonard Newmarsh at Starbase 60, took a year's leave to the homeworld due for his first pon farr (or 'time of mating') to wed his beloved T'Sing. Today, Admiral Salok and T'Sing have, at present, five children — sons Silik, Kitak, Xoskar, and twin daughters V'Rul and V'Rea; they are currently expecting their sixth child in a few months.

K'kan-wak is the Vulcan word for "pregnancy." Although a long-living race, the Vulcan reproduction cycle, or pon farr, occurs once every seven years. It is only during these brief periods that Vulcans are fertile and able to conceive. Pregnancy, due to the complex anatomy of Vulcans, is a difficult experience, shadowed in ritual and ceremony. To ensure the greatest safety to the mother and unborn child, females are expected to return to the Vulcan homeworld, under the constant supervision of family and healers, at their ancestral home, where are often secluded from their life-mates. In defiance of Vulcan tradition, T'Sing, however, chose to remain on Starbase 60. When Captain Serek questioned Admiral Salok on this, he replied, "Her argument was most logical..."

(The phrase u'khaf-spol Vuhlkansu, u'katra Vuhlkansu (perhaps) describes it best, which translates to "Vulcan heart, Vulcan soul." This is my first pregnant character, whhheee!)

interesting. Although I'm afraid I'm a bit lost...

Is that mycroft that is Admiral?

Behind the corpse in the reservoir, behind the ghost on the links,
Behind the lady who dances and the man who madly drinks
Under the look of fatigue, the attack of migrane and the sigh
There is always another story, there is more than meets the eye.

I love this wonderful world you have shaped together. This lastest character is great! :D

(It is weird that you have to see the picture on full view only as of this time.)

The smaller image isn't showing up for me either, but full view is. I don't know. I re-uploaded the image several times. I don't know what's going on with it.
