"What in life does not deserve celebrating...?"
Aaahhh, my gallery's been invaded by Watchmen art! Where are all the mice?!?! Bubastis ate them, of course!  I just heard about the Valentine's Day Contest on Gunga Diner, the ultimate Watchmen community on DA, about, oh, an hour ago and all entries are due tomorrow — eeeppp! I did a quick sketch in class and used the scanners in the college. I have come to learn that I hate GIMP (but it was either this or MS Paint, vomit). I hope I made it in time and I hope I win 'cause First Prize is awesomeness! Here is Ozymanidas (Adrian Veidt), the self-proclaimed "Smartest Man in the World," with his genetically altered lynx-tiger pet, Bubastis. It's soooo nauseatingly cute enough with a kitten — but I had to embellish it further by adding a baby bottle of milk 'cause I'm EVVVVILLL that way! While I was drawing this, I could see this fan-made commercial run through in my head in an eternal loop. The roar is EPIC! You can see this commercial appear on one of the little television sets in the Karnak scene. (I re-uploaded this with a coloured one and resubmitting it to the V-Day Contest. Veidt is sooo gay... I'd love to see reactions of Dan and Walter. Dan with a WTF?! look on his face and Walter looking like he's going to throw up. -- "Buyer beware.  -- Sweet heaven, I see the light. I feel...love and life; sun and shine. But here in this Hades I cannot touch... The forbidden angels of love cannot save me. I see the demons of your hell. I kiss the angels of your despair. Yeah, come to think of it, he does look "super-gay," but honestly that didn't really process in my mind. I just wanted him to be like a brand-new mother with an infant and it ended up coming off that way....which I think adds to the picture, making it even more enjoyable. I SOOOO want a little Lil' Bubastis of my very own!
I originally did have a sketch of a reaction. But it was of Adrian's assistant who I named "Tari" (after "Nefertari", Ramses II's favourite wife) giving him an "That is SOO wrong on so many levels" look. -- "P-p-please, Eddie, you know there's no justice for toons anymore? It was a happy accident, so I'm glad you and others have found it so amusing, LOL!

I totally relate to where's he going, even if I don't really agree to the means he used. But he is a douchebag and total asshole, yeah.
